Amy Kelly is a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist specializing in Child, Adolescent, and Reunification therapy. She graduated from UC Davis with a BA in Psychology, SF State with an MFT in Clinical Psychology and completed CE with the American Academy of Pediatrics. Amy has spent the past decade working with families and children. She has worked as a counselor at multiple private schools including the San Francisco Day School, Fusion Academy Marin, and Fusion Academy Walnut Creek. Her private practice in Oakland focuses on individual therapy to children and teenagers, family therapy, co-parenting therapy, and reunification therapy. She also is a licensed supervisor. Before starting her own business, Amy practiced at the San Francisco Counseling Center and at Haight Ashbury Psychological Services where she also served as a board member.
She started her career as a teen counselor at St. Vincent de Paul Society in Melbourne, Australia. She later worked as a child and teen counselor at College Track where she helped at risk youth succeed within the public education system. While completing her master’s degree, she worked as an intern at HeadStart in San Francisco where she served as a child therapist for preschoolers who live below the poverty line. The common thread throughout Amy’s career is her passion to help children of all ages find inner strength and succeed.
